Food is really mid, not flavourful at all. The squid ink is on the watery side. Saving grace is that service is fantastic and you have a great view of the water if you sit outside

Put this one on the top of your restaurant list for Hvar. Our meal was delicious and a better value compared to the other restaurants in the area. We had the Black Pearl seafood dish and Sea Bass which both had delightful sauces. Their Croatian wines are great selections. The staff was very attentive and we met the owners and love their mission and background story. The location is a charming spot with a sea view.

What an experience! We stubled upon this little gem just outside Hvar harbour. Owned by two very attentive twin brothers. Squid and tuna salad recommended!

What a gem! Super close to the centre, yet outside of the touristic hectic. It has a very cut terrace right next to the beach as well as an upper terrace. I rarely leave reviews, but I had such and amazing dinner at this place. The food was great, homemade gnocchi in a parmesan bowl is definitely a recommendation. The whole vibe of the restaurant is something worth experiencing, especially during dinner time with the sunset. The staff was very friendly. I had a chance to meet the owners and they were super nice, looked like they really enjoy what they're doing. Loved the place all in all and can't wait to come back

Very nice environment, food and service normal, but very high bill for the food ordered.
We took a grilled squid and a sea bream for around €29 per dish, but the quantity of fish was paltry.
Furthermore, what is truly absurd, we got 2 bottles of water for an absurd price, €7 per bottle of just 0.75l.
We won't be back again.
€90 for 3 of us and we left hungry and we come from Italy, which is already expensive!

Very typical from my experience in Croatia. Great view and setting but average overpriced food. €7 for 750ml bottle of water, our server (he was actually quite nice) struggled to open a bottle of wine, and every dish tasted bland. The chicken entree in particular seemed to not have any type of seasoning or flavour. Nothing personal against the restaurant. Just being honest.

Very nice local community, everything was great. Except for the prices. Therefore “only” 4 stars. The prices are probably Hvar usual.

The place is just above a small beach...and has a nice Veranda Atmosphere. Prices are a bid high and food is ok...I would gave 5 points but when I asked for 2 pice of bread for my Greek Salad....I was surprised they charged me on the bill 4€ for 4 small piece of bread...they said it is homemade...if would be free which I am used in Europe..would give 5points? Also for a 75dl bottle sparkling water they charge €7.-....but it seems this prices are normal here in HVAR...anyway my wife said Wifi is good 👍🥰 regards Liz & Rene

Nice location facing the sea, but poor service. We rented lounge chairs on the beach that cost 25 each and then we ate at this restaurant. The best thing was the location, because the food was quite average (Greek salad and house burrata). They didn't have salmon, which was the first thing we ordered, the beer was hot and the waiter didn't take us into account when we spoke to him. I don't know if it's because he didn't speak English or because it was his normal attitude. For how expensive it is, bad experience.

We discovered Code 11 almost by accident but we enjoyed such a nice dinner that we decided to return there the following night. It is a culinary gem, surprisingly quieter than similar restaurants in the hearth of the city and it was a great discovery. Fresh ingredients, expertly prepared dishes, the menu offers diverse selection that cater various tastes and dietary needs. Truffle and dressing of pasta exceptionally cooked are an highlight as well as the Nonna’s salad. The owners, twin brothers, did an amazing work also on the atmosphere and service. Whether you are a local or just passing through a stop there is a must!

On Hvar island, right next to the town’s harbor, you will find a restaurant called Code 11. I had a very well made classic Carbonara, perfectly made from home made pasta. Also big plus: they know how to make very nice cocktails. The staff is very friendly. Dino, thanks for a job well done! See you again soon!

Nice dinner experience, with good food and friendly staff. We had a great grilled octopus and a portion of fried calamari which were good, although they could have been more generous with the calamari amd less with the fries. Would recommend!

If you’re a typical Hvar-tourist this is the place for you. Food ok, totally overpriced not only by Croatian standards. They don’t even bring you a piece of bred to salad and soup and charge 7-8€ for 100ml housewine. Americans, enjoy! (No offense, love you guys)

Code 11 provides a nice view of the nearby beach and the island. For the food, I cannot comment as we were limited for time and could only order drinks. Waiter was very friendly and accommodating, providing a smooth and quick service. Prices were a bit steep, €8 for a smoothie. Nevertheless, I felt very refreshed afterwards and ready for the next leg of the boat trip I was on.

The place looks great. The coffee looks appetizing, but everywhere it smells of old grease, which effectively discouraged us from eating and encouraged us to move away. An additional disadvantage is the consent to smoking.

Sat by the beach and had some pizzas and drinks. Lovely service and good prices relative to the island. Would recommend. Particularly if you’re enjoying the nice public beach next to it.

We're looking for a place to eat dinner, a little off the beaten path and found this lovely place. Sat in the restaurant at the top of the stairs. Food was spectacular. Drinks were good but the best part of the whole experience were the waiters. So damn good. Raymond was our main guy and he made the night for us. Again, the food is fantastic. We had pizza, salads, meat and cheese plates many drinks. One side we tried was chard with potato and olive oil. It was simple but such a solid comfort food. I'll add it to my list of things to make at home. Go there, you won't be sorry! If you're lucky, Raymond will be your waiter!

We had such a great experience at this restaurant last night- took a table with a view over the sea and it was just lovely.
The Front of House and waiter were both absolutely charming and welcoming.
Food was is excellent- fresh, tasty and reasonable.
Heavenly desserts 😁.
I’d eat here again in a flash and highly recommend.

I can say it’s the worst pasta in my life!!!!
and super pricey it’s 23 euro and the noodle is like instant noodle !!! Can you believe it? Don’t know how their reviews come from

Beautiful restaurant on the water just south of the old town in Hvar. The octopus salad was delicious, as was the Tuna Tartare. The service was fantastic, and the wine was smooth, too.

A beautiful restaurant with two terraces located next to the sea and the stone walls of the century-old Franciscan monastery and church. An environment in which you feel like in the garden of paradise. Friendly and cheerful staff, and finally, we got the food, which is the crowning glory of everything.👌. We three girlfriends "hit" on the Mediterranean offer, and the fourth (vegan) was overjoyed to find for herself an excellent offer of a vegan menu. All in all, a great experience and we really enjoyed ourselves👯♂️👯♂️ Bravo to the owners!
