Absolutely amazing experience! I had the burger, and I can honestly say it was the best burger of my life — juicy, flavorful, and simply unforgettable. The meat tasted like a piece of heaven! 😍 The atmosphere is super cozy, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can feel the care in every detail. I left with a huge smile and can’t wait to come back. Highly, highly recommend this gem of a place!

Great food, good quality meat and good value. The chips were amazing too, very unique. Our waiter Federico was fantastic, extremely friendly and attentive, he made our experience even more enjoyable. He even let us charge our phones, let us come back and use the bathroom later in the day, and offered to fill up our water bottle later in the day too. 10/10 food 11/10 service.

We had a wonderful evening at this amazing restaurant. The service was extremely friendly, and above all, the burgers were world-class. In fact, they were the best burgers we’ve ever had, and we’ve had quite a few. The meat was excellent as well, and the selection of house wine was very good.

Very tasty argentinain meat and argentinian wine ❤️ we had the steak with malbec sauce and fries.
The staff is also argentinian. The prices are comparable. (Steak with side for 33-37€)

The empanadas were pretty average, doughy exterior but a tasty interior. We recommend the beef one.
The burger was an excellent combination of flavors. Good bread and the fries had a nice curvature that made it easy to dip in the chimichurri sauce.

We ate very well. Very good meat, good burger and good sauce. Pleasant service with an effort from the waitress for a few words in French. I recommend!

My congratulations to everyone who makes this little piece of home possible 😍 incredible quality of food and exceptional service. The potato cake blew my mind and not to mention how much I needed a choripán as delicious as the one they offer.

Don Armando in Stari Grad is a must-visit Argentinian steakhouse.
We had a fantastic time, with great food and excellent service. The steaks were cooked perfectly and full of flavor, while the sides and appetizers complemented the meal beautifully.
The waiters were knowledgeable about both the food and the wine, offering spot-on recommendations. The warm and inviting atmosphere made our evening even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Service was absolutely impeccable- these guys were so passionate about their food and wine. The food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the empanadas, the sirloin steak and their cottage pie, all with incredible quality beef. Would definitely come back next time we visit!

Five stars family restaurant with great and tasty food. Prize quality service relation really deserve a visito to this charming place in Stari Grad. We visited Don Armando, Celia and Marco and the whole staff are really welcoming and explain all different options with a lot of passion! Provoleta and chori were delicious!!!

Amazing argentinian food. We had an empanada, which was great. My girlfriend a choripan and I had one of the best burgers I’ve had in Europe. Both came with delicious fries and some sauces to dip. The waiter, Marco, was very amicable and spoke 5 languages. I recommend it 100%. Quite cheap, we spent 41 euros drinks included.

We visited Don Armando on our first day on the island of Hvar and it was a very good decision.
In the main square, there is a door with a sign at the entrance indicating that Don Armando is inside, where you discover a nice and cozy patio to enjoy the food they serve.
The attention was exquisite from start to finish. The girl who served us explained the entire menu to us, always with a huge smile on her face.
As a starter we ordered a meat empanada and another humita empanada (4 euros each). Both were delicious, but if I were given the choice I would opt for the second.
For main we ordered the house burger (18 euros) and the complete steak (16.50 euros). Also very rich and tasty.
To top it off, we chose coconut cake and dulce de leche for dessert (4 euros). It was a great ending, because I would have eaten the entire tray.
Total price €53.50 (including two glasses of white wine for €3.50 each and some shots invited by the house)
If you go to Hvar, highly recommended to come here. Also, compared to the prohibitive prices of almost all restaurants, it is a very good option.

The staff is incredibly lovely, we had a great time chatting with the owner.
The ambient is also one of the prettiest in Hvar. This restaurant is what I would like all restaurants to be - small, so it's not overcrowded, with tasty and fresh menu, and wonderful people. They made our night in Hvar perfect!

Don Armando was the best experience we had, the food was super delicious, the seasoning is exactly what we have in Argentina, the attention is extraordinary, they explained each meal on the menu to us. As an Argentine I recommend it 100%. It is the most delicious thing we have tried on the island of Havar

This hidden gem is entered via a gallery opposite the outdoor restaurants in the square. I popped in last Friday afternoon to book a table and was met by the owner who recognised my Scottish accent and we had a chat about his time in Scotland. Went back in the evening and had a really fantastic meal. The service was brilliant and it was explained that the husband and wife team run the restaurant and the wife makes the vast majority of the dishes. This is a small restaurant and probably the best hidden gem I've ever visited. Food and service was outstanding and I'll definitely be going there again when I go back to the stunning Island. Thanks for everything last week

Great place with a really rustic charm, we booked for a group of 12, but 20 of us turned up. No problem at all! the owner and his partner were amazing hosts, giving us an overview of all the dishes and serving us with a smile. The food was very good, try the steak it's worth every euro!! Would highly recommend.

We stopped by for an early lunch, and was not dissapointed.
The waitress was so welcoming, explaining the menu. The atmosphere is really good, and everybody was super friendly.
The empanadas were good, and so was the beef sandwich. Ok portion size, especially for a lunch.

Best food We Got in Croatia! This restaurant is a hidden gem.
The food was so delicious. We got the empanadas and they were the best I have ever had - highly recommended! We also got the sandwiches, dessert and red wine as well: 10/10!

Small scale location in a very cute patio with plants overhead.
We were welcomed very friendly and the waitress explained the whole menu and concept.
Over the course of the night we had constant attention from the staff and a glass of wine was a hand gesture away.
The ribeye steak was prepared with great thought and care over a charcoal grill.
A slice of Argentina in Croatia! Definitely recommend!

Not very visible from the street but definitely a must visit. They serve absolutely amazing Argentinian sandwiches with high quality Argentinian beef. (But they also have a lot of other Argentinian favourites on the menu!)The service is awesome, they are so so kind. Do yourself a favour a step away from all the pizza/burger places in the Main Street and come here!

So glad we found this place for lunch, first impression on walking is a peaceful courtyard with South American decor. Really helpful waitress explained the menu which made it easy to decide what to have. We shared a Churrasquito de la casa (Argentinian beef sandwich) with a couple of empanadas (fried pastry).
The beef was really tender and the flavours vibrant and fresh, you can tell all the food is prepared fresh.
And the Leffe beer was nicely chilled.

What a hidden gem! We walked by it a few times until we finally decided to go in (don’t be like us, just walk in - the garden is right at the end of the hallway) but BOY are we glad we did.
Fantastic service, delicious food, lovely music and ambiance that made us feel like we were eating in a friends garden. It’s obvious the owners heart and soul are in this place and we enjoyed every bite (especially the empanadas, which we ate so fast we didn’t even have time for a photo 😀)

Owned by a warm and friendly family, the homemade food is excellent. We enjoyed the chorizo sandwiches and the empanadas. They have a lovely, hidden away patio. A great place to cool down on a hot day in Hvar.
