If you want to taste top-quality Dalmatian cuisine,Made from a famous family recipe that's over 100 years old -from bruschetta, risotto, and pasta to fish and high-quality meat-I highly recommend this restaurant.Thank you to the staff for their kindness and the great music.I truly felt comfortable and had a wonderful time.

The food is awesome!!! Coming from nyc I have eaten at many phenomenal restaurants. That being said this place is amazing. Great staff and amazing food.

Amazing experience, best choice. They even offered a welcome wine and appetizers on the house. Price is not exaggerated as in the other ones. Staff is very friendly.

Lovely small place in the old town of Hvar. We had breakfast which was delicious and affordable. There is no menu but a fixed set of dishes provided - very nice, local and tasty.

I had the meat platter. Very tasty...but a little overcooked for me. Both chicken and pork chop lacked the juice(too dry for my tastes). My wife had the muscles in a tomatoe sauce. That was much better. Service was excellent...as was the ambiance.

Highly recommended! I had grilled sea fish - simply fantastic. The service was very warm and personal, and you sit beautifully in a courtyard with old walls.

Just like 99% of previous comments : a lovely restaurant amidst the cacophony of the other overpriced, extravagant and exuberant places all around.
A delightful discovery worth stopping for many times.
Go for seafood go for mixed grill, everything was really tasty. Great advice on the wines, the sparkling wine at the beginning was a very nice touch :) hope to come again soon !

Very complete breakfast with juice, bread, jams, yogurts, eggs and waffles. You can only pay with cash and it was €10 per person.

Siamo stati qui ieri, e ci siamo trovati talmente bene che siamo tornati oggi. Siamo di Roma, città nota per il livello culinario e ci piace uscire e mangiare fuori, per cui spero che questa recensione sia utile a quanto cercano il buon gusto a Hvar. Ieri abbiamo mangiato insalata di polpo (era giga e buonissima), frittura di calamari (giga è buonissima, provate a vedere le porzioni di Feegene…), risotto e linguine verdi ai frutti di mare, piene di frutti di mare!!! Prosecco e grappa offerti, prezzo competitivo rispetto ai ristoranti nei dintorni, clientela (guarda un po’…) locale e una gentilezza d’altri tempi, troppo spesso dimenticata. Il locale si sviluppa in una corte interna e riservata, lontano da chiasso e spintoni. Voto 10

Lucullus is so good, that we went two nights in a row. Their welcome and hospitality is just so warm and genuine, and the food is brilliantly delicious and authentic. Particular highlights were the seafood risotto, fried fish, tuna salad and grilled lamb. But honestly, you would come here for the service alone - everyone just has hospitality flowing through their veins. And they just want to make you happy. Amazing place!

Amazing place. The staff are so wonderful and welcoming. We were given complimentary Prosecco and bruschetta before our meals arrived.
I ordered the creamy salmon pasta and it was delicious. Other people at my table shared the mixed meat platter which looked impressive.
We are so glad we ate here and thank you to the waitresses for their great service!

Excellent service and excellent food! We went there for dinner and then again for breakfast, and both were amazing. Meat and fish are cooked on the fire indoors.

Amazing homemade food. We had grilled squid, the meat platter for two and fresh fish, they were all extremely tasty! The service was great and the terrace is lovely. Also great prices for wine bottles, comparing to other restaurants in Hvar. Highly recommended!

We had an incredible breakfast here. It was so good and the service was so friendly we came back twice! Rosa and her sister are so nice. Breakfast is very filling. Coffee, tea, orange juice, bread, butter, cheese, meats, Yogurt, oats, fruit, eggs (any style you want), breakfast cake, and the best strawberry jam! Ukusno (“delicious” in Croatian)

A great restaurant off the beaten path, we didn't expect to come across Hvar, let alone such a place. Extremely nice staff who treat you like your best friend, wonderful meals, and welcome with a glass of prosecco. One evening we had a fish plate where each seafood was prepared to perfection, and the next day the lamb pie was equally delicious. This is a place that makes me wonder when we will be in the area soon so that we can be a guest of such wonderful hosts again.

We've had a fish plate for 2 and an octopus salad. Both were absolutely fanatastic and even off-season all fish and sea food was fresh and excellent taste. We would definitely come back here to eat.

We had a FANTASTIC evening at Lucullus Hvar. We were welcomed very warmly and immediately received a welcome drink. This was followed by a starter and a dessert on the house. When we wanted to give them a tip, with great pleasure, this was not accepted. Very sweet and warm people! The hostess has a heart of gold!

The best place on Hvar to enjoy a dinner with products from the family farm. A very professional welcome, a small welcome drink, excellent wood-fired grills, an incredible fish soup. A very good time away from the small port and its hustle and bustle.

Nice spot in the heart of Hvar. Service was welcoming but a tad slow. I did not like that I was brought a bottle of wine to open without asking for it. Otherwise, food is tasty, the regular fare when in Hvar. Did not find it lacking in anything but neither spectacular.

Every dish was amazing. Veiw was amazing. The waiters recommended a teriffic local pino grigio. Really was one of the best dining experiences of our trip.

We had a lovely dinner here, the courtyard is beautiful. The service was ok (we were seated quickly but it took a long time to get the bill). 3/4 of our mains were delicious but the seafood risotto lacked flavour. The side of vegetables that came with the grilled squid were also very over-cooked!

One of the best restaurants of Hvar: good and local food in a delitious 'patio' in a historic building. The waitress were very kind and the food was excellent. I strongly recommend this place.

Tucked away in a side street just off the main drag, is this easily missed dalmatian diamond of Croatian cuisine. Family run and led by the patron chef you will be amazed by the food, service, price and privacy. Easily the best place to eat in Hvar. Pop to the amazing wine bar next door for a pre or post-dinner drink.

Great restaurant with vegan options! Amazing wine list with a cute outside seating area. We were offered this amazing appetizer from the kitchen of bread and a cashew hummus. Ordered the falafel to share, the vegan burger, and the vegan pasta. All were delicious and I couldn’t recommend more.
